Simple, practical, and profound.

It may explain the most important principle of civil government: the principle of jurisdiction, and how the Bible teaches about it.

In his book “Government Takes All . . . What’s Left for Me?” Dr. Max Lyons explains in a simple manner about the jurisdictions of the family, the church, volunteer associations, and government according to God’s Word. I know that I had a few “Ah ha!” moments as he explained passages of scripture in relation to government. Additionally, I appreciate how he adds to the understanding of self-government and the role of the individual within our Constitutional Republic.

Another specific area where I appreciate clarity is found in Chapter 5: Education and Welfare—Whose Jurisdiction? Super helpful!

It’s small and concise—a PERFECT read for busy individuals! (It also makes a great addition to one’s high school curriculum.)

Dr. Lyons does an excellent job detailing each of the five spheres, and most importantly explaining the limits for each. It is now clear to me what the Bible teaches in this area. I also now know what I can do to help restore our Constitutional Republic.
